iFab Steel is a steel fabrication shop specialising in architectural, decorative and structural steel works.

Some of our jobs include high end and custom award winning spiral and curved steel staircases, high end balustrades, structural steel fabrication and site installations. We focus on custom designed quality finishes for residential and commercial builders on a national level.

We are looking for a Qualified Painter who is experienced with different aspects of painting to join our team and grow with us in a long term position. You will be responsible to carry out work in the workshop and also on site.

Requirements.

  • Own transport and current manual drivers license.
  • Ability to commence work immediately.
  • High level attention to detail & quality control.
  • Proven experience with body work and filler application.
  • Proven experience with 2K paint both epoxy and polyurethane systems.
  • Ability to carry out site work.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and self regulated within direction.
  • Ability to apply paint using air assisted systems.
  • Proven experience with different types of finishes.
  • Polite and enthusiastic
