THE ROLE

Join the dedicated team at HD Pumps, a trusted Northern Territory leader in pool and water equipment servicing. We're looking for a Swimming Pool Technician to help maintain and service a range of commercial and residential swimming pools across Darwin.

This is a hands-on, practical position where you'll be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality pool servicing. We're looking for someone who is motivated and eager to learn, detail-oriented and reliable, and comfortable working outdoors and on the move. A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction is essential. Experience in the pool industry is an advantage, but not essential — we're happy to train the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience
  • Fully equipped work vehicle supplied for the right candidate
  • Long-term opportunity with a stable, family-owned business
  • Supportive and skilled team environment
  • Ongoing training and opportunities for career growth
  • Access to staff discounts through HD Pumps & Humpty Doo Hardware

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated basic DIY skills or practical hands-on experience in mechanical work
  • A basic knowledge of pool chemical balancing and filtration systems
  • High attention to detail and focus on safety
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple sites effectively
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with mobile job management systems (e.g. TimeTrak or similar)
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
  • Own tools (Basic hand tools), all testing & cleaning equipment will be provided
  • Current NT Manual Driver's Licence
  • A current or recent police check
  • Due to site access and security requirements, applicants must be Australian citizens.

If you're interested in working on some of the most exciting swimming pool sites in the NT, we'd love to hear from you.
