PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – ALLIED HEALTH CLINIC

Fizzio for Life is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic committed to supporting diversity and making a positive contribution to our community. We are currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our busy and growing team in a part-time capacity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in delivering a positive, welcoming experience and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic. We're looking for a mature, personable, and well-organised team member with a proactive attitude and a passion for excellent service.

This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and has prior experience in health administration and/or familiarity with the NDIS (or a strong willingness to learn). Hours are flexible and negotiable for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front desk reception, client bookings, and diary management
  • Patient liaison – supporting our client's journey through excellent follow-up and rapport building
  • Billing through HICAPS, DVA, WorkCover, NDIS, and other compensable schemes
  • Administrative support for therapists and clinical team
  • Assisting with NDIS-related tasks including service agreements and appointment coordination
  • Maintaining a safe, clean environment in the clinic and hydrotherapy area

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional phone manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Calm and solution-focused approach under pressure
  • Confidence using computers and Google Workspace applications
  • Understanding of discretion and confidentiality
  • Willingness to contribute to cleaning duties in a heated indoor pool setting when needed
  • NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain prior to employment)

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in an allied health or medical setting
  • Knowledge of NDIS processes and client management
