The Role
We are establishing a pool of suitable candidates to fill permanent and fixed term opportunities for Claims Support Officers (Workers' Compensation) in our Government Insurance Division.
Successful applicants will complete a structured and supported four week training program on commencement, followed by ongoing in-team mentoring, working together in a supportive and committed team. Even if you do not have experience in Workers' Compensation, but you have the capabilities outlined in the job description form, we want to hear from you.
These positions provide an opportunity for a long-term career in Workers' Compensation claims with the Insurance Commission. Positions begin at a Level 2, with the ability to progress through to Level 3 based on the skills and capabilities you are able to demonstrate, not just time spent in the role.
To achieve the Diversity Outcomes sought by the Insurance Commission as stated in the HR Blueprint to , initially only people under 25 years of age who meet the minimum criteria of the role will be considered (refer to Fact Sheet on Section 66ZP of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), as amended). The Person

Appointment Information
Suitable applicants will be placed in an appointment pool for up to twelve months. Selection to the pool does not guarantee appointment. Appointments may be made from this pool as opportunities arise and may be full time or part time, permanent or contract, including contracts with the possibility of extension and/or conversion to permanency.
