**Concrete Field Tester**

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Concrete Field Tester to join our team at Skygate, situated at Brisbane Airport. The principal areas of responsibility will be ensuring full compliance with Australian Standards and NATA requirements for sampling and testing of concrete mixes and entering test results into multi-faceted systems.

This role is a full time contract with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct concrete field testing
- Carry out equipment calibrations
- Perform all field testing operations
- Provide training to trainee laboratory technicians
- Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained
- Assist the technical team as required to ensure customer requirements are met
- Promoting safety and environmental initiatives
- Safeguarding all plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with OHS/WHS legislative requirements
- Confirming all personnel are aware and comply with relevant OHS/WHS legislation
- Ensure plant is operated and maintained in accordance with site requirements
- Complying with the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) requirements

**About you**:

- 2+ years' experience in a testing operations environment (Civil or Building industry preferred but not essential)
- Qualifications in Testing Operations will be highly regarded
- You will have the tenacity to take ownership and manage your responsibilities
- You will be customer focused and excellent attention to detail
- You will be motivated and goal oriented
- Current Manual Drivers Licence
