Work as a Carpentry Trainer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry training, assessing student competencies, and providing constructive feedback. They will also contextualize training resources to reflect current industry practices and maintain a safe, inclusive, and compliant training environment.

We are seeking a passionate individual who holds a Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) or equivalent trade qualification, a Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent), and demonstrated vocational competency and industry currency in Carpentry. Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills are essential.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and practical carpentry training aligned with CPC30220 requirements
• Assessing student competencies and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Contextualizing training and assessment resources to reflect current industry practices
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and compliant training environment
• Supporting students with guidance, mentoring, and workplace learning where required
