Situated in the fashionable East End of Adelaide, The SOHO is perfectly located for business or pleasure with easy access to the cosmopolitan dining and shopping precinct of Rundle Street and the charming Hutt Street Precinct with it's historic cottages and leafy streets.

We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and efficient experience and are looking for a new housekeeping team member who will go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.

Hotel Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas

  • Resetting rooms between stays including making beds, cleaning and restocking rooms, cleaning bathrooms and public areas.

  • Restocking linen storage

  • Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.

  • Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.

  • Responds timely to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items like provisions, cots, extra towels, etc.

  • Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.

  • Reports necessary maintenance items.

  • Follows all safety and sanitation policies

  • Performs additional duties as needed.

Hotel Housekeeper Qualifications / Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

  • Highly responsible & reliable

  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

  • A can-do attitude

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Previous housekeeping experience a plus

  • Valid driver's license
