Role Description

This is a part-time or full-time role for a Family Lawyer located in Sydney CBD. The Family Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation in family law matters including divorce and separations, parenting and child custody disputes,, property and financial settlements, and binding financial agreements.. Daily tasks include client consultations, drafting legal documents, conducting mediation sessions, and representing clients in court. The Family Lawyer will also collaborate with other legal professionals and maintain thorough documentation of all case proceedings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    2 years PAE
    in family law
  • Strong advocacy and litigation experience, including court appearances and mediation
  • High-level drafting skills across correspondence, legal documents, and agreements
  • A self-driven approach, balanced with team collaboration
  • Confidence in taking instructions via email, phone, and in-person meetings
  • Exceptional client care with empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Strategic thinking and sound legal advice
  • Reliable time management and attention to detail
