About us
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the 'Courts Group'.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

Join Court Services Victoria (CSV) as a CISP Case Manager and play a vital role in helping clients on bail engage with rehabilitation services and achieve behavioural change through a client-centred, strengths-based approach.
As a CISP Case Manager, you will provide holistic case management support to clients with a range of complex needs. Working within the Ringwood Magistrates' Court, you will engage clients in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-informed interventions, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to reduce barriers to service access.
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct needs and risk assessments and develop individual support plans.
• Coordinate access to services including housing, mental health, alcohol and drug treatment, and family violence interventions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Prepare court reports and provide advice or evidence to the Court.
• Deliver brief interventions and immediate support to court users.
• Identify and manage client risks using harm minimisation strategies.
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders including judiciary, legal professionals, and community service providers.

About you
You are a dedicated professional with:
• Extensive experience in the assessment and case management of clients with complex needs.
• Demonstrated capacity to provide a culturally responsive and inclusive service to clients.
• Demonstrated client engagement an d management skills, including motivational interviewing techniques.
• Excellent case formulation and written communication skills.
• Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma level highly desirable) related to case management practice with forensic clients, such as social work, psychology, welfare, drug and alcohol or another related field and/or relevant experience.
