As the Safety Systems Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's safety management systems and protocols across all operational areas. You will lead a team of safety professionals and work closely with various departments to ensure that safety standards and regulations are met, and that we are consistently improving our safety practices.

This role plays a critical part in fostering a culture of safety within the organization and supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Leading a small and cohesive team, the Safety Systems Lead will ensure the team is well supported, developed and engaged.

Providing ownership of the safety systems that underpin our Beyond Zero focus, you will bring influence to key stakeholders on a policy and process that keep our employees safe, through investigations, incident review and training.

About you

With leadership experience, you can see the strategic vision come to life by coaching and mentoring your team. You will have a sound understanding of safety, risk and compliance regulations, capable of communicating to a diverse set of stakeholders.

You will be passionate about the wellbeing of others, ensuring staff feel supported in an environment where safety is the most important consideration.

Your qualifications in health and safety, coupled with your practical experience in similar roles will see you flourish in this role. You will be supported by a high performing team as your career in safety continues to grow.
