We're looking for a Project Engineer to join the team, working alongside one of our senior leaders.

About the Role

This is a broad, hands-on role covering the full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. You'll sit at the intersection of client requirements, engineering teams, third-party vendors, and contractors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the coordination and delivery of projects from feasibility through to commissioning.
  • Supporting project scheduling and cost forecasting, including preparation of reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinating documentation flow between clients, engineers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Managing discrete packages of work under guidance
  • Monitoring project performance against baseline schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Supporting procurement activities and vendor/contractor management.
  • Assist in identifying and tracking project risks; help prepare risk logs and mitigation plans.
  • Contributing to commissioning and handover planning, ensuring documentation and compliance standards are met.
  • Assist with project governance tasks, including supporting documentation and compliance activities.
  • Assist with change management processes and documentation.
  • Help maintain project registers and reporting templates.
  • Work closely with senior project engineers and managers; attend project meetings and take minutes.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in governance, risk, and controls.

Desired Background

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
  • Up to 3 years' experience in projects (graduates or interns with strong potential will be considered).
  • Exposure to scheduling, cost control, or project documentation systems is highly valued.
