About The Opportunity: 

UON are currently looking for an enthusiastic Project Engineer to join the team, working on a 2:1 roster on a permanent basis.

  • Responsible for coordinating all technical aspects of the project
  • Provide input into the commercial team of the project with forecasting
  • Liaise with client and team members / Project Manager to ensure works are completed within technical requirements
  • Support all areas of the business to achieve successful project delivery
  • Deliver quality engineering to achieve successful project delivery
  • Be part of an industry leader specialising in energy and water solutions to the mining and resources sector
  • Understands and complies with company and project policies, processes, and guidelines
  • Maintain compliance with UON and Client WHSE policies, procedures and systems

About You: 

This position will suit a seasoned Project Engineer who has 3+ years-experience of working within the mining services and renewable energy industry.

  • Ability to work independently and be part of a team
  • Organisational and time-management skills

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3+ years' experience in the construction and engineering industry
  • Proven ability and demonstrated experience in quality control and site engineering
  • Awareness and understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practise
  • Experience within Mining services and Renewable industry
  • SOWRIO / FMG experience, highly desirable
