The Company

This household name in the SA landscape and civil construction sector has landed a number of large-scale projects, enabling them to continue their sustained growth over the years.

They have a strong presence throughout Adelaide and a great reputation for delivering highly demanding and challenging projects.

Their high-profile projects are between $1m - $10m and include the landscape packages on new estates, parks, playgrounds, schools, day cares and public domain works.

You would be working with an array of long-standing clients, including Local Government bodies, national Developers, and large builders.

The Opportunity

This organisation has set a true benchmark in the civil and commercial landscaping sector, and this is your chance to put your stamp on their projects as a future Project Manager within their delivery team.

You will work collaboratively with an established and proven Project Manager and Construction Manager who will mentor you.  You will join a trusted and passionate crew, and work closely with clients to bring their vision to life throughout the lifecycle of the job.

The Role

  • Assist with program and schedule works
  • Ordering materials and organising deliveries
  • Resource management
  • Delegate to Leading Hands / Site Managers
  • Subcontractor egagement
  • Cost tracking and forecasting
  • Safety and compliance
  • Quality assurance
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers
  • Report into Project Managers

The Requirements

  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction or Horticulture (required)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in construction (bonus)
  • Must have landscape construction site experience in Australia
  • Strong computer skills
  • Driving license
