The Opportunity

Nourish Nurture Thrive, now in it's 10th year, is a well established, reputable multidisciplinary private practice specialising in holistic eating disorder care and body image concerns.

We are excited to be expanding our team again and we have multiple positions available for passionate, motivated and energetic clinicians:

• Accredited Practising Dietitian - @ Mornington
• Registered Psychologists - @Ivanhoe or Mornington
• Child & Adolescent Clinician (Psychologist, SW, OT) @ Ivanhoe or Mornington

About the Role/s

• We have multiple positions available at both of our clinic locations.

• Dietitian - 2 days per week @ Mornington

• Psychologist - 2 or more days @ Mornington or Ivanhoe

• Child & Adolescent clinician (Psychologist, SW or OT) - 2 or more days @ Mornington or Ivanhoe

• Flexible contractor positions with a choice of hours and days (subject to availability)

• Schedule your day to suit you with some WFH hours available for ultimate flexibility.
• At our practice, you'll have the opportunity to help people create transformative changes in their relationship with food, exercise and their body.
• You will be supported to develop your skills as an eating disorder clinician. We provide annual professional development activities, clinical resources and in-house group supervision sessions.
• We have a finely tuned intake process which includes a thorough medical screen for all new clients. This means that you'll always know who is walking through the door, creating safety for you and your clients.
• In order to do your best work, we know that you need a sustainable diary and a balanced caseload. We will work with you to ensure that your client hours are manageable and your caseload grows at a rate that works for you.
• Our clinicians stick around for a long time - so we are dedicated to supporting career growth and progression. We provide our team members with opportunities to participate in delivering workshops and webinars, group programs, leadership positions and supervisor pathways.

About Us

We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, mental health clinicians and dietitians who are dedicated to helping people feel at peace in their body. We work with people across the lifespan who are experiencing issues with body image concerns, eating disorders and health related difficulties.

We have an excellent reputation within the mental health field, with strong referral bases and a constant supply of new referrals.

Working from a trauma informed approach and a Health At Every Size framework, we strive to provide evidence-based clinical interventions grounded in respectful relationships, in an inclusive and safe space for all people. Our Locations

Ivanhoe

Located in inner north Melbourne, our Ivanhoe clinic is in a beautiful leafy part of town, only 10km from the CBD and directly across the road from the train station. Catch the train to skip the traffic or bring the car - we have all day parking for clinicians. Take a stroll during your lunch break to the nature reserve just 300m down the road.

Mornington

Located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, our Mornington clinic is the perfect location to do a day's worth of fulfilling work, followed by a beach stroll or dip after work. our Mornington rooms are welcoming, comforting and motivating consulting spaces to work from.

Your Skills & Responsibilities (Required):

• Full qualifications in your relevant discipline (Dietitian, Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist);
• Eligible for Medicare provider number;
• Interest and enthusiasm for the eating disorder and body image field and a commitment to undertake training to in evidence based approaches, with our support and guidance;
• Values that align with the Health At Every Size framework and a therapeutic style that is trauma informed, inclusive and embraces diversity;
• A conscientious, motivated professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills and stringent record keeping abilities;

Desirable skills & experience:

• CAMHS, CYMHS or ELMHS background
• Experience working with children, adolescents and families;
• Introductory training in assessment & treatment for Eating Disorders
• Eating Disorder credentialed clinician
