About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Booval Dental in Ipswich.  In this role, you will be an integral part of our dental practice, providing invaluable support to our dentists and ensuring the highest level of patient care. The position can be part-time or casual with approximately 15-20 hours per week

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting dentists during procedures and maintaining a sterile work environment
  • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our patients, guiding them through their dental visits..
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment plans as required
  • Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments according to strict infection control protocols
  • Collaborating with the wider dental team to ensure the smooth operation of the practice

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient care
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
  • A positive, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
  • Certification or qualification in Dental Assisting is highly desirable
