An exciting full-time oppurtunity exists for a Duty Manger to take charge of the day to day operations at the Shepparton RSL Sub Branch Inc. The role is hands on, overseeing a passionate team and delivering exceptionally high service standards to our 11,000+ members and guests.

The role requires availability across 7 days a week, working a rotating roster with a combination of days, nights and weekends with a weekend off every 3 weeks.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage daily operations of the club, always ensuring a seamless member and guest experience.
  • Ensure adherence to all Club policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, proactively resolving guest issues and concerns.
  • Lead, train and motivate staff to consistently deliver high standards of service, presentation & cleanliness.
  • Monitor financial performance, including cash handling, daily reconciliations and inventory management.
  • Plan and assist in the execution of Club events, promotions and operational initiatives.
  • Monitor & report on key operational and financial performance indicators to support business growth.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Duty Manager or senior hospitality management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) & Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) certifications, TAB (Vic) accreditation and VGCCC Gaming Industry License.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to professionally resolve conflict and issues.
  • Sound financial management and inventory control experience, working closely with our finance team.
  • Solid understanding of hospitality industry regulations and compliance requirements, with a focus on VGCCC regulations and procedures.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to work across 7 days a week operation.
