M.A. Services Group is a rapidly expanding business offering a wide range of security services delivered by our highly experienced and qualified personnel. We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated and passionate candidate to join our team on a casual basis in the capacity of SECURITY OFFICER - EVENTS. If that sounds like you, then we want you to join our team.

About the role

Reporting to our Event Management Team, the Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers & patrons. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work nights and weekends, previous events experience is required.

MASG have a large portfolio events which means we have a 365 day events calendar to offer with plenty of opportunities, if you're looking for a rewarding job, working on some of Australia's biggest events where no two days will be the same, then this is for you

MAJOR EVENTS INCLUDE:

  • Moto Grand Prix
  • Spring Racing Carnival
  • Cox Plate Carnival
  • Caulfield Cup
  • AFL / AFLW

LOCATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Brisbane City
  • South Brisbane
  • Gold Coast
  • Various Councils

Skills and experience

To Be Successful for this role; you will possess the following;

  • Current QLD Security Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Current RSA Certificate
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards
  • A Positive and Proactive Approach
  • Passion for delivering professional and efficient customer service
  • Evening & weekend availability are essential
  • Strong communication skills, including incident report writing.
  • Ability to multi task and work autonomously in high paced team environment
  • High Attention to details
  • Proven experience in Major Events

The position is located in Brisbane at various major events.
