This opportunity offers flexibility to work 1–2 days per week, either as a contractor or part-time employee, with a strong administrative support team, existing caseload, and diverse NDIS referrals. The service is dedicated to promoting independence, participation, and quality of life for paediatric clients with neurodevelopmental and sensory needs.

Benefits

  • $100-$130 per hour working in a subcontractor capacity
  • Choose between contracting or part-time employment with flexible hours (1–2 days/week)
  • Work within 30 minutes of Melbourne CBD in a self-managed community-based role
  • Tailored support from an administrative assistant and allied health assistant
  • Access to a budget of $750 per year for CPD (negotiable)
  • Referrals and caseload provided – manage your time and bookings with autonomy
About the Role
  • Receive referrals and conduct comprehensive initial assessments and deliver ongoing therapy
  • Support paediatric clients across ASD, developmental delay, and sensory/emotional needs
  • Provide services such as Functional Capacity Assessments, SIL/SDA evaluations, and capacity building
  • Recommend and implement Assistive Technology and Home Modifications through in-home and community assessments
  • Deliver therapy in client homes or local settings, with minimal clinic requirements
  • Collaborate with Physiotherapists and support teams to ensure holistic care
Support Available
  • Bookings and billings coordinated by a dedicated admin assistant
  • Allied health assistant support to enhance therapy delivery
  • Clinical autonomy with flexibility in managing your own schedule and referrals
Requirements
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Drivers license and vehicle
