About the role

We are seeking a mature, friendly and enthusiastic Retail Part Time associate to join our team at Marcia's on Montague in West End, Queensland. As a casual retail assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining the store's visual standards. With a focus on creating a positive shopping experience, this role offers the flexibility of casual work hours. We have potentially 3 days including a Saturday each week.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Maintaining the store's visual merchandising and presentation standards
  3. Restocking and replenishing shelves and displays
  4. Handling cash and processing sales transactions accurately
  5. Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any customer inquiries or concerns
  6. Supporting the store's operations and contributing to a positive team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role, preferably in the fashion or lifestyle sector
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide friendly and efficient customer service
  3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high visual merchandising standards
  4. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  5. A positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude
