Mechanic

Due to an internal promotion we are looking for a Trade qualified full time Mechanic to join our growing team at Agtrac Machinery in Donnybrook.

About the role

Reporting to the service manager. Tasks include, servicing and repairing agricultural machinery on the customers property and at our dedicated workshop. Maintaining and repairing machinery in the workshop, as well as building new equipment and machinery and pre delivery inspecting new equipment prior to delivery to our customers.

About what we are looking for

You will hold a Diesel Fitter, Motor Mechanic, Ag Heavy, Commercial Mechanic or LV Mechanic Trade Qualification. Ag experience would be an advantage but is not essential. You will have a demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, diesel & petrol engines, and basic electrical circuits. A current drivers licence is essential, A fork lift and a truck licence would be an advantage. You will have a good work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with our customers and the rest of the team.

Australian citizenship or valid work visa with right to work in Australia is required.
