Role Info: Contact Centre Specialist (Part-Time) - Multiple Positions Available

Location: Level 13, 627 Chapel Street, South Yarra, VIC 3000 (Full time onsite)

Start Date: 1st December 2025

Contract Type: Temporary (4 Months)

Roster Options (Monday - Friday):

  • 6 positions: 9am - 2pm
  • 8 positions: 2pm - 7pm
  • Note: Training will be conducted from 9am to 5pm for the first two weeks.

About the Role

As a part-time Contact Centre Specialist, you'll be the voice of our client, Great Southern Bank. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing tailored solutions across a range of products including general banking, lending, and credit cards. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping Australians achieve financial security and home ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by actively listening to customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Guide customers through the early stages of their loan journey with confidence and clarity.
  • Achieve individual performance targets while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Educate customers on financial products to support their financial wellbeing and foster loyalty.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge across transaction accounts, lending, and credit cards to confidently assist customers in making informed decisions.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service (financial services experience is desirable).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport over phone/web channels.
  • Empathic listening skills to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent computer proficiency to ensure accurate transactions.
  • A team player who contributes energetically to team goals and outcomes.
