Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and take part in the regular cleaning of service areas
  • Carry out and supervise general gardening duties
  • Ensuring all cleaning and gardening duties are completed to standard
  • Conduct and oversee pre-inspections and regular maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Train, mentor, and guide team members on correct cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
  • Monitor performance and provide feedback to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with company and client standards.
  • Support other departments or roles as required, demonstrating flexibility to step in and assist operational needs when needed

Skills and Experiences:

Key Criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years' leading hand or supervisory experience in Facilities Management within the mining sector.
  • Previous FIFO mine site cleaning experience is essential
  • Proven ability to lead teams while actively contributing to the work
  • Must have Statutory Supervisor certificate (Section 26) - candidates without the certificate must be willing to obtain it
  • Must have a valid WA driver's licence
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents to be considered for this role
  • Willingness to complete national police check and pre-employment medical prior to employment.
  • Rio Tinto Inducted (highly desirable)
