Company Description

The South Australian Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation Network (SAACCON) is the Closing the Gap peak body in South Australia that provides advice, recommendations, and guidance to the Coalition of Peaks, and partners with the South Australian, Commonwealth, and Local Governments to improve outcomes for Aboriginal people and communities.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Adelaide, SA, for a Senior Business Services Officer (Administration). The officer will oversee and manage corporate and business services, maintain business relationships, handle finance tasks, HR and WHS and ensure exceptional customer service. Some training will be provided.

Additionally, the officer will be responsible for:

  • efficient communication within the Secretariat, the organization and with external stakeholders
  • compliance and risk mitigation and
  • implementing and monitoring quality services
  • supporting the organisation toward ISO 9001 Certification

We are looking for

  • Experienced in Business Services
  • Proficient in corporate services related tasks
  • Skilled in Customer Service
  • Excellent Communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in an on-site environment
  • Understanding of Aboriginal cultural context and community needs is a plus
  • Extensive experience or a Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field is preferred
