Starick provides crisis accommodation, outreach services and holistic support to women and children escaping from or impacted by Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence. Our services are based in the eastern metropolitan corridor of Perth.

The Position

Starick has an exciting opportunity for a children's counsellor to join our community counselling team. Providing quality trauma and FDSV informed counselling for children and young people aged 5-18yrs who have been impacted by Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence. This position will be based in Gosnells and is offered on a part-time basis of three days per week (22.5hrs).

What you will bring

A tertiary degree in either Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling.

Minimum two years' experience working with children in a counselling role who have been impacted by family, domestic and sexual violence.

A willingness to participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development.
