Kitchen Hand

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our team at Flour Lane in Annandale, NSW. In this casual role, you will be an integral part of our busy kitchen, supporting our chefs in delivering high end event cakes.

1. Assisting with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients and mixing
2. General cleaning kitchen and surrounding areas
3. Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
4. Restocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen is well-equipped
5. Following all food safety and hygiene protocols
6. Supporting the kitchen team with any other tasks as required

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role within the hospitality industry will be favoured
2. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
4. Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude
5. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
