Camtech Engineering is a well-established business specialising in precision engineering and toolmaking. Based on the Gold Coast, we are one of Australia's leading injection and blow mould manufacturers creating one-offs and custom parts for both local and international companies.

Our design and manufacturing facilities are supported by state-of-the-art computerised equipment with a two-shift operation.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist - Milling or Lathe to join our team. This is a full time, permanent position with the opportunity for overtime.

Skills and experience

We are seeking a candidate that meets the following criteria:

  • Trade Qualified with appropriate experience
  • Previous experience programming and operating CNC machines essential
  • Mazak/Mazatrol experience is highly regarded
  • Ability to read and interpret  engineering drawings
  • Great attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Self-driven with good time management and prioritising skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, whilst also being a strong team player
