Position Purpose

An exciting opportunity exists for a Store Operations Manager to join our Emporium Boutique based in Melbourne's CBD. The Store Operations Manager will drive operational excellence by ensuring seamless execution of all store processes, including stock management, compliance and operational efficiency, while supporting the Senior Store Manager in delivering a luxury brand experience.

The purpose of this role is to manage and oversee the operational functions of the store in line with Zimmermann's standards and procedures. The role ensures the integrity of stock, execution of visual merchandising, online order fulfillment, compliance with company policies and effective coordination with Head Office support teams. The role partners closely with the Store Sales Manager to ensure product availability, accurate processes, and operational support directly enable commercial success.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure all store operations are executed in line with Zimmermann's Policies & Procedures.
• Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling, timecards/timesheets, payroll submission, and expense control. Manage Health & Safety compliance (OSHA/WHS), ensuring all incidents are reported and resolved promptly.
• Ensure back-of-house areas are organized, safe, and reflective of brand standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely store administration, including reporting and correspondence with Head Office teams.
• Oversee and manage all stock movements, including deliveries, transfers, consignments, and online orders.
• Execute seasonal VM directives, floor moves and markdowns in collaboration with the VM team and in line with Zimmermann expectations
• Train and mentor operations and stock team members to achieve excellence in their roles.
• Provide team training on systems, stock handling, loss prevention and operational standards.
• Act as a role model for integrity, accuracy, and adherence to Zimmermann standards.
• Manage online order processing with 100% accuracy, ensuring dispatch deadlines are met.
• Oversee online returns, coordinating with the Senior Store Manager to achieve positive outcomes.
• Support the store team with operational processes that enable excellence in client experience.
• Share insights with the Sales Manager to inform buying, allocation and replenishment needs.
