About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Support Manager based at Mawson Lakes SA Australia location, reporting to the Procurement and Subcontract Manager, this person will be embedded within the project supporting the requirements provided by Project Manager.
As the Supply Support Manager, you will, ensure the Inventory Management services are delivered in accordance with commercial agreements and to ensure all BAE Systems business and legislative obligations are fulfilled.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively manage the Supply Support team to deliver the Inventory Management services.
- Provide guidance and support to members of the Supply Support Team.
- Build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to the Inventory Management services.
- Responsible for the analysis and forecasting of parts, materials, tools and support.
- Identify potential issues and develop solutions in conjunction with the Project Manager.
- Comply to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements and legislation and contribute to providing a safe working environment.
- Responsible for establishing new processes and procedures required to support current and future sustainment activities.
- Prepare management reports to identify issues, discuss options and recommend actions.

- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills and the ability to form strong working relationships both internally and externally
- The ability to provide leadership and direction
- Ability to resolve issues of a complex nature
- Show initiative, prioritise and meet deadlines and have strong attention to detail
- Experience in inventory management, forecasting demand, preparing material schedules
- Experience in warehousing, logistics
- Experience in SAP, Millis preferable
- Prior defence sector experience is considered a significant advantage.
