The opportunity
We are currently hiring experienced and passionate Care Aides to join our Aged Care Team in Augusta on a casual basis. We are seeking candidates who have at least three weekdays available. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday - Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm. If you are available for some, or all of this time period then we would love to hear from you
*This position primarily involves travel throughout the Augusta areas. Candidates residing in or near Augusta are strongly preferred.
Servicing the following suburbs: Alexandra Bridge, Augusta, Bramley, Burnside, Courtenay, Cowaramup, Forest Grove, Gnarabup, Gracetown, Hamelin Bay, Karridale, Kudardup, Margaret River, Metricup, Molloy Island, Osmington, Prevelly, Redgate, Rosa Brook, Rosa Glen, Scott River, Treeton, Warner Glen, Witchcliffe.
About you
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
- Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
- Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
- A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
- Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
