As the Social Worker within the AMHIPU, you will be expected to provide high quality Social Work services to young people and their family/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. The successful candidate will provide Social Work services to the Shellharbour Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Unit. This service takes planned admissions from all over NSW.

This position is based in the AMHIPU at Shellharbour Hospital. The AMHIPU is a declared 6-bed specialist state wide acute mental health unit. It provides care for children and adolescents aged 12 to 17 experiencing a range of severe mental health issues. The unit offers a safe, developmentally appropriate, and therapeutic environment, with a strong focus on collaboration with families and carers.
