Airlocker Training Currumbin Waters is on the lookout for a motivating, knowledgeable and charismatic Lead Coach to join our team. If you're passionate about fitness, thrive in a team environment, and want to be part of a culture that's second to none—this role is for you.


About the Role

As our Lead Coach, you'll play a key part in leading our studio team and creating a training environment where members feel supported, inspired, and challenged.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership & Team Support – Assist, guide and monitor coaching staff.
  • Administration – Use Hapana software for member management (training provided).
  • Studio Operations – Oversee studio presentation and assist with sales when needed.
  • Coaching – Lead fun, high-quality group fitness classes.
  • Member Support – Conduct fitness appraisals, educate members on altitude training, and handle general enquiries.
  • Community Engagement – Support member challenges, events, and social activities.
  • Ongoing Development – Learn new altitude and mindset training systems with opportunities to upskill.

Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Group fitness coaching experience
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge in fat loss, strength, or nutrition programs
  • Confident communicator with great energy and presence
  • Team player with the ability to work to targets and under time pressures

Minimum Requirements
  • Certificate III in Fitness (minimum)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates
