Our client, a well-known hospitality group, is looking for a FP&A analyst to support them for up to 12 weeks whilst they recruit for the permanent position.

Your new role

  • Manage the Budgeting and ongoing Forecasting of all Venues in a 3-way Model format (PL, BS, CF) using existing excel assets while working to transition to our new BI tool (Phocas/Q-Insights) over the coming months.
  • Monitor and report on all Bank covenant reporting (ICR/LVR) and funding RFI requirements.
  • Develop our Investment Analysis and New Business Feasibility Models using IRR and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all company entities and partners using tools like Excel, Phocas BI, Tanda Payroll, and NetSuite.
  • Work with internal and external teams to reduce manual reporting and move key insights into the new business intelligence platform for weekly and monthly updates.
  • Promote consistency and reliability in financial data across all reporting systems.
  • Help prepare monthly Board Reports by improving and standardising inputs, focusing on forecasting and planning.
  • Collaborate with Venue Licensees, Executive Chefs, and the Leadership Team to share insights and support better business decisions.
  • Develop customised KPIs and reports to track and improve individual and team performance.
  • Provide backup support for end-of-month financial closing and analysis when needed.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in financial modelling and investment analysis within a multi-site business (Hospitality, Retail, or Property).
  • Strong skills in Excel and experience using BI tools like Phocas or similar for data analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, including inventory, costing, payroll, tax, and end-of-month processes.
  • Familiarity with labour and roster analysis, and a basic grasp of award structures is a plus.
  • Experience working with complex business structures and multiple entities.
  • Degree in Finance or equivalent practical experience is essential.
