About the role

Corjay Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our skilled team in Lockleys, SA. As a full-time Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the electrical and electronic systems of a wide range of vehicles. We do not offer sponsorship please do not apply if you do not have a valid visa or citizenship.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing comprehensive vehicle electrical system diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components and wiring
  • Programming, calibrating and testing electronic control units and modules
  • Undertaking scheduled electrical maintenance on vehicles
  • Documenting all work completed and maintaining detailed records
  • Providing excellent customer service and advising clients on electrical issues
  • Working collaboratively with the wider automotive service team

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Qualified Automotive Electrician
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and electrical test instruments
  • Knowledge of automotive electronic systems, including body electronics, engine management and vehicle network communications
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to high quality standards
  • Good customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • A current driver's licence and your own tools
