Your Role

As a Manager within our Technology Products and Services division, you will play a pivotal role in creating market differentiation through the deployment of resilient, innovative technology and contemporary methods at scale.

Your unique contribution will be to lead the planning and execution of technology strategy for some of IAGs most business-critical platforms. You will provide exceptional leadership to an agile platform delivery and operations team, ensuring platform stability while driving transformation aligned with strategic priorities.

You will be at the forefront of technology change within your platform, collaborating across other platforms and stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes. Your leadership will foster operational partnerships that enable simplification, agility, and scalability across Platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing technical, design, and QA standards to ensure operational effectiveness and platform stability.
• Driving operational excellence to optimise platform run costs.
• Building strategic relationships across IAG and with external partners to ensure high-quality platform delivery and support.

This is a permanent role open to all major cities in Australia ideally Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) and Meanjin (Brisbane).

About You

You are a strategic and people-focused technology leader with a passion for delivering impactful outcomes through resilient platforms and empowered teams. Your experience spans platform operations, application development, and technology transformation, and you thrive in dynamic environments where innovation and collaboration are key.

You bring:

• Proven people management skills, including talent development and team engagement.
• Strong experience working with partners and suppliers, fostering collaborative delivery models.
• Leadership in application development and operations, with a focus on stability and continuous improvement.
• Workforce planning, budgeting, and forecasting expertise to ensure effective resource utilisation.
• Technology strategy development and execution aligned with business priorities.
• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as ITIL, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Practical experience in supply chain applications and the claims lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, ideally with AWS, enabling scalable and resilient platform solutions.
