Patient Service Administration

• Salary: $ $32.28 per hour + 25% casual loading - ASO2
• Casual (1 Jan 2025 up to 31 Dec 2025) 

The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be the vital link in our team, directly supporting the Patient Services Manager and delivering top-notch, confidential administrative and customer service to clients, staff, and visitors of the Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service. Your role will be essential in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth operations, making a real difference in our community's healthcare experience Please note that the successful applicant will be required to work a 24/7 roster.

The Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service is a large regional hospital that provides a wide range of services including emergency, general and surgical, maternity, outpatient, and outreach services. The hospital has 58 beds including flex and monitored beds. The Port Augusta Hospital also has chemotherapy services and has a Renal Dialysis Unit and a Paediatric Department, both of which are the largest outside of Adelaide. Our staff work in close partnership with community health services and Aboriginal health providers, to ensure that optimum care is delivered to all areas of the community.
