Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a High Reach Forklift Operator located in Wacol, QLD. The High Reach Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating high reach forklifts to move goods and materials within the warehouse. Day-to-day tasks include loading and unloading trucks, stocking shelves, picking orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the forklift. The role also involves conducting regular equipment checks and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operating high reach forklifts and forklift certification
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving heavy items
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in carrying out tasks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Adherence to safety procedures and protocols
  • Experience in the rural retail industry is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
