Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic team. As a Breakfast Chef and lunch at cravings Cafe, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring that every plate meets our high standards of presentation and taste.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes
  • Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, food preparation techniques, and presentation.
  • A passion for creating delicious, authentic Italian meals that leave a lasting impression.
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations
  • Work efficiently and effectively during busy breakfast and brunch hours
  • Collaborate with the team to create new menu items and specials
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar role
  • Passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • As a Chef/ cook, you must be able to work both independently and in a team.Qualification & Experience

Chef Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial kitchens

A formal qualification in Commercial Cookery is highly regarded

Experience working with Italian cuisine is an advantage

Some baking skills and basic pastry knowledge is preferred

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team

Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail

Cook Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen

A formal qualification in Commercial Cookery is a plus but not essential

Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Passion for delivering high-quality food

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
