About the company:

This is an opportunity to join a company focusing on green energy & achieving their carbon neutrality targets, this role will have you working in a multidisciplinary engineering team, designing a heavy mobile fast charging facility.

Responsibilities:

  • System design, develop 3D models of incorporating electrical systems such as power distribution, control, auxiliary, and robotic systems.

  • Detailed engineering design: interpret and translate detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams into 3D space.

  • Integrations, collaborate with multidiscipline engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into overall design.

  • Utilise Siemens NX, SolidWorks & AutoCAD software for drafting modeling, and creating 2D & 3D drawings.

  • CAD Management, support the buildup of comprehensive CAD assemblies with 5000 parts whilst adhering to product data.

Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in design & drafting in 2D & 3D space.

  • Experience with conceptual design, mockups, and detailed design including production & assembly details.

  • Proficiency in Siemens NX is preferable, if not then SolidWorks & AutoCAD for mechanical design is also acceptable.

  • Prior knowledge of charging systems & mining infrastructure is preferable.

  • Strong understanding of design for manufacture & design for assembly.

  • Knowledge of industry standards & regulations related to Rail & Locomotives is highly regarded.

Full working rights in Australia is a requirement for the position
