An exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Designer with prior Project Management experience/involvement and a willingness to engage and take ownership of developments and products.

You will be working as part of a cross functional development team where your contribution will be central to the continuing success of our simulator products. As a Mechanical Designer you will have a passion for understanding technical and customer requirements, developing prototypes of new products, project co-ordination and generation of accurate manufacturing documentation.

**What we need**:
To be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria:

- 3 years + Experience in SolidWorks (or similar) 3D parametric modelling.
- Experience within a Manufacturing environment - Sheet Metal, CNC Machines.
- Mechanical designer with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Detail orientated and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent understanding of best practice in operations and safety.
- Experience in project management.

Our designers work with Electronic and Software Engineering, as well as internal fabrication and CNC manufacturing resources to deliver new products or product enhancements to a well-defined set of specifications. Designers will be asked to lead projects, manage resourcing, project plan as well as design products. The desire to work in areas outside of design is essential.
