What You'll Do

Hospital pharmacy is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and collaboration are key. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Dispense and supply medication for hospital patients and outpatients
  • Deliver medication and collect rounds to hospital wards
  • Assist with managing ward imprest and stock management activities
  • Support patients, hospital staff and associated employees
  • Pharmacy claims and general administration duties

Shift information:

  • Every Friday, 08:00am to 04:30pm

What You'll Bring

While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it's not essential as full training will be provided to aid your transition into this new space. This includes dedicated training in imprest management to support your development in hospital pharmacy operations. Previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required to ensure a confident start in the role.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Permanent Australian working rights.
  • Minimum 1-years' dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy.

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Experience in hospital pharmacy.
  • Certificate III/IV in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent.
