About the role

Be the backbone of this legal team providing comprehensive administrative support that enables attorneys to focus on fighting for their clients. You'll manage caseloads, coordinate schedules, and facilitate seamless communication between clients, attorneys, and court personnel whilst making a real difference in people's lives.

Duties

  • Proactively manage complex attorney calendars, including court dates and client meetings
  • Prepare and finalise legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
  • Play a vital role in case preparation, ensuring materials are organised and available
  • Maintain meticulous electronic and physical files, ensuring confidentiality
  • Serve as primary client contact, providing compassionate case updates
  • Liaise with court personnel, police, and other legal professionals

Skills & experience

  • Prior experience in a legal setting, ideally criminal law (highly desirable)
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Uncompromising discretion and commitment to confidentiality
