EXECUTIVE SUPPORT OFFICER

Your New Role

The Shire of Narrogin has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the role of Executive Support Officer in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer.

The Executive Support Officer plays a vital role in providing administrative and operational support to multiple Executives within the organisation. Reporting to the Executive Support Coordinator, this role involves managing a diverse range of tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the Executives' activities.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated experience providing confidential administrative support in a professional office environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience preparing agendas, minutes, correspondence, and reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems, with sound records management skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, exercising discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Experience in Local Government or sound knowledge of Local Government practices (desirable).
