Experienced Canvas & Material Handler – Awning & Window Covering Specialist

Clayton South | Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Wages – based on experience (open to negotiation)

We're A1 Blinds – a long-standing manufacturer of premium awnings and window coverings. We're looking for a skilled Canvas & Material Handler to join our busy Clayton South factory. If you've worked with canvas or mesh materials before and have experience cutting, sewing, and tailoring them into functional, high-quality products, we want to hear from you

What You'll Do:

  • Handle and prepare canvas and mesh materials for production.
  • Cut, sew, and tailor materials for awnings, blinds, and custom shade solutions.
  • Operate industrial sewing machines and cutting equipment.
  • Work with accuracy to meet quality standards and production deadlines.
  • Collaborate with a supportive, experienced production team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in canvas, mesh, or similar heavy-duty material handling.
  • Skills in cutting, sewing, and tailoring (industrial sewing machine experience essential).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.
  • Reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude.
