This long established, Northside switchboard manufacturer is booming. They are a privately-owned, small company with a reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction. They service a diverse range of quality clients spanning the mining, industrial and commercial industries.

With the job security of a larger company, and the friendly attitude of a small business, they offer the best of both world's to their employees. This includes a 4 day work week, relaxed workshop environment and sensible, experienced, and helpful leadership.

They are after an electrical tradesperson who can deliver a high standard of workmanship within all aspects of the switchboard manufacturing industry. The preferred candidate must have experience in the following areas:

  • Assembly and fitting out small to large switchboard systems
  • Comprehensively read and interpret electrical drawings including Single Line Diagram, Schematics, Termination Schedules and Workshop General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Wiring of Motor Control Centres, PLC Panels, Distributions Boards and Control Panels
  • Fabrication of busbar systems
  • Testing of assemblies to Australian Standards and client specifications.

They are trying to get a motivated team of staff in the workshop, therefore they want to have an easy going, honest person with a desire to excel and bring a positive attitude into the workplace.

Pay starts at $55 plus penalties.

The company has a need for permanent staff, and will take you permanent after a three month qualifying period.
