Are you passionate about customer service and keen to be part of a vibrant new business? Benalla Blue Pool & Spa Shop is looking for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join our team. As we open our doors to the Benalla community, we need someone enthusiastic to help customers find everything they need for their pools and spas.

Benalla Blue Pool & Spa Shop is a brand-new store offering high-quality pool and spa products, water treatment solutions, and expert advice. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and help our customers create the perfect backyard oasis. We pride ourselves on offering a friendly and welcoming environment for both our customers and staff.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the pool and spa industry (though experience is not essential), be eager to learn, and work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
  • Assist with product selection and offer expert advice on pool and spa care.
  • Manage inventory and ensure shelves are stocked and organized.
  • Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions.
  • Help maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries both in-store and over the phone.
  • Support the team in achieving sales targets and delivering an outstanding shopping experience.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous retail experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong customer-first mindset.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions.
  • A willingness to learn about pool and spa products and services.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
