Job Description:

  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience of
    database, data warehouse
    and
    ETL
    processes in a cloud environment
  • Demonstrated experience with reading, creating, and maintaining tables, views and materialised views using
    DataBricks/Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery
  • Demonstrated experience with
    ELT/ETL tooling such as Airflow/AWS Data Pipeline/Kinesis/FiveTran/Kafka/Spark/Pandas
  • Demonstrated experience using
    SQL/Python/R
  • Experience with
    data governance tools (Collibra, Alation, Informatica, etc.)
    is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of application integration patterns and enterprise architecture
  • Demonstrated experience with developing or supporting API and SFTP integrations for web applications, from ideation to delivery
  • Hands-on experience with searching for activity logs using
    Cloud Logging Tools
    such as
    ElasticStack (ELK), Splunk, Grafana
    or equivalent
  • Able to recommend & apply the best delivery approach for the circumstances
  • Familiarity with
    data governance frameworks
    (e.g., DAMA, DCAM, GDPR, ISO
  • Must have experience in leading initial idea/initiative discovery and documenting a clear understanding of business goals, requirements and measures of success
  • Must have demonstrated experience taking a leading role in assisting with planning the approach taken when planning the project/backlog/development sprints, etc.
  • Experience working in agile environments and using tools like Jira or Confluence
