Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Partnerships & Marketing Executive looking after our global marketing and partnerships. The role reports into our CEO and the candidate needs to be based in Sydney. The candidate must have experience and knowledge of international markets including Mainland China and Asia.
The day-to-day tasks may include, but not limited to market planning and research, communicating with clients and partners, sales, and executing brand-led marketing campaigns. The Marketing & Partnerships Executive will work closely with our senior management team, clients and internal creative teams to develop strategic partnership programs and drive marketing initiatives that create value and strengthen our clients' brands.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development / Partnerships
- Responding to new business leads including leading and/or participating in new business pitches, brainstorming sessions, client presentations and business industry or client events as required
- Establishing and nurturing global and local partnerships and alliances to drive key online and offline events (webinars, co-branding initiatives, podcasts, interviews, client events and so forth) that will boost our overall industry leadership positioning internationally
- Be accountable for the overall partnerships/marketing plan across key markets, channels and platforms. This includes leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, while leveraging internal support and driving collaboration, to ensure our marketing programs meet specific objectives across different channels and segments.
Marketing
- Staying abreast of industry news, technology and innovation trends to ensure that the Agency is always delivering exceptional creative branding strategies and solutions for our clients and community
- Conducting social listening and analytics reporting across multiple platforms whilst extracting key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies
- Continuously refining branded content, marketing assets and our overall marketing programs that enhance our marketing efforts
- Partnering with creative to test, refine and enhance our brand communications including print, digital, and video assets
- Curating and managing branded content which includes all branded online platforms as well as updates for customer and internal touch points.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and to be responsible for the annual marketing budget, project timelines, deliverables and planning of resources
- Ensuring that the Agency's brand messaging, look and feel on all public-facing material is consistent across all marketing channels
Qualifications
- Market Planning, Market Research, and Marketing skills
- Sales and Communication skills
- Experience in developing strategic partnership programs with clients and partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Simplified Chinese
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related fields
- Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or travel industries is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with digital marketing platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, AdWords, etc.) is a plus
