MACH Energy Australia is in the business of developing and operating economical and efficient energy sources, with a strong awareness of social and environmental impacts through the acquisition and development of a portfolio of tier-one energy assets.

With a major coal mining operation near Muswellbrook, New South Wales, along with a corporate office in the heart of Newcastle, we are seeking a full-time Junior Administration Assistant. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work towards attaining your Certificate III in Business Administration.

About the Role

This newly created position is a rare opportunity for an agile individual to work within a highly motivated and driven team in a fast-paced environment. The role will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Corporate functions including People & Culture, Finance, Legal and Marketing and Logistics.

Key responsibilities

· Greet visitors, manage phone calls and operate the Administration inbox

· Organise procurement and delivery of office/kitchen supplies and consumables

· Perform general admin duties for the Corporate functions including mail collection, postage and meeting room upkeep

· Support day-to-day operations, liaising with suppliers and service providers

· Manage office vehicle requirements (including detailing, servicing, calendar management)

· Coordinate corporate office travel and accommodation bookings

About You

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Sound Microsoft Office skills

· Organisation and time management skills

· Efficient and accurate typing ability

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Exceptional organisational, time management and multi-tasking abilities

· High level of professionalism and integrity

· Highly motivated induvial with strong attention to detail
