The role

Our expanding Transport division is looking for experienced Heavy Rigid (HR) and Heavy Combination (HC) drivers to take the wheel of one of our Semi Live Bottom and 10-Wheeler Rigid trucks in metro Melbourne. You'll play a critical role in carting a range of soils and quarry products, as well as helping divert millions of tonnes of demolition and construction waste from landfill.

Delta operates a fleet of bin trucks, truck & dog tippers, road sweepers and other vehicles servicing our civil and demolition businesses and external customers.

Key responsibilities

All applicants must provide a current CV, references and a current copy of your Vicroads driving history report. To be successful in this position you must have the following:

  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Commitment to safety, and an understanding of your CoR obligations
  • Have a sound knowledge of the Melbourne metropolitan area
  • Be responsible and take pride in maintaining vehicles
  • Be well presented and follow site rules at all times
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Professional work ethic with a can-do approach
  • Be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
