Your opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join a young business
with a strong client portfolio
and become part of a team that is well known and respected in the environmental sector. We are looking for Technicians to give them the opportunity to work onsite on a variety of projects across Australia on a Casual or Contract basis.

You will work closely with senior staff at Bajwa EnviroConsult. You will be encouraged to take the lead on a range of site projects and tasks with the support of our experienced team.

Key aspects of this role include:

• S
  upervising landfill construction works as Geotechnical Inspection and Testing Authority (GITA) and Third Party Construction Quality Assurance Consultant (TPCC)
• Undertaking environmental monitoring (landfill gas, groundwater, surface water, leachate)
• Conducting soil testing and classification
• Project management
• Travel to project sites within Victoria, Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland will be required.
• Weekend and Public Holiday work may be required.

About you

• ou have completed a Diploma, Bachelor Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Geotechnical Engineering.
• You have greater than 12 months of experience as a field technician.
• Experience in supervision of construction activities as GITA/TPCC or in undertaking geotechnical testing and assessment required.
• White card and first aid training required.
• You are an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia.
• You have an aptitude for learning and a positive attitude.
• You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• You are a self-motivated individual that enjoys working collaboratively to identify solutions.
